In a response to the Malaysian Ambassador\u2019s remarks, <\/span>The Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) Chairwoman for BPC HIPMI Jakbar Ir. Rika Amelia Rush<\/b> said MCS 2024 is an excellent opportunity for Indonesian companies to showcase their expertise and innovative contributions to entrepreneurship and innovation.<\/span><\/p>

“MCS 2024 provides a robust platform for our members and leadership to display their capabilities, innovative products and services, reaching a broad audience across ASEAN and China, while also facilitating vital knowledge exchange.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u201cThis summit could allow us to amplify our voice and share impactful experiences with an international community, thus enhancing our global presence,” said Rika Amelia Rush.<\/span><\/p>

She further noted, “Participation in the summit offers invaluable trade benefits by allowing the Indonesian business community to engage with diverse sectors from the region in a single venue. It provides a unique chance to influence the regional economic narrative and deepen cross-border understanding through strengthened global partnerships and networks.”<\/span><\/p>

The MCS 2024, scheduled for December 17-19, 2024, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur, is organised by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn Bhd. It is held to commemorate the 50<\/span>th<\/span> Anniversary of the Malaysia-China bilateral relationships. The three-day event promises to be a dynamic platform for trade and investment, fostering deeper economic integration and cooperation among ASEAN nations and China.<\/span><\/p>

Dato\u2019 Syed Mohamad Hasrin noted that the MCS 2024 may primarily be an event between Malaysia and China, but its impact extends far beyond these two nations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

“Incorporating ASEAN into this summit is not just a strategic move but a necessity. As economic interdependence and regional stability grow, fostering deeper ASEAN integration is crucial for enhancing the collective economic resilience and competitiveness of the region.”<\/span><\/p>

Qube Integrated Executive Chairman Richard Teo<\/b> said Indonesian businesses could derive many benefits by participating in the Summit. <\/span>\u201c<\/b>This is an ideal platform for business to expand their network in the region and beyond with over 500 exhibitors and 10,000 trade visitors expected to attend. This will foster connections with leading businesses from Malaysia, China, and other ASEAN countries.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

He added that this event allows participants to tap into the growing economic synergy between Malaysia and Indonesia, exploring new business avenues and strengthening existing ties within the region. This will eventually allow them to leverage their positions to gain valuable insights that benefit their business.<\/span><\/p>

The summit\u2019s theme, <\/span>\u201cProsperity Beyond 50,\u201d<\/b> signifies the long-standing partnership between Malaysia and China while looking forward to future opportunities. Indonesia\u2019s participation is crucial, given the robust trade relationship between Indonesia and Malaysia. In 2023, the bilateral trade reached a total of RM 111.21 billion (USD24.39 billion). This positioned Indonesia as Malaysia\u2019s seventh largest trading partner globally and third largest among ASEAN member states.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

With Malaysia set to chair ASEAN in 2025, the MCS 2024 summit aligns perfectly with the vision of a prosperous and interconnected region. Indonesian firms are invited to take part in this transformative event, which promises to pave the way for a more integrated and collaborative future within ASEAN.<\/span><\/p>

The networking event in Jakarta was participated by 200 guests from the public and private sectors. AirAsia, the official airline partner for MCS 2024, was also one of the speakers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Jakarta, 20 Juni 2024 \u2013 Di tengah dorongan untuk memperkuat hubungan ekonomi dan kolaborasi regional, Malaysia-China Summit (MCS) 2024 atau KTT Malaysia-Tiongkok 2024, diakui oleh pelaku usaha Indonesia sebagai wadah yang dapat mendorong kolaborasi dan perdagangan internasional. Para pengusaha Indonesia diekspektasikan untuk mengirim delegasi ke KTT prestisius ini yang akan diadakan di Kuala Lumpur pada bulan Desember mendatang.<\/span><\/p>

Acara jaringan yang diadakan di Jakarta hari ini menyoroti pentingnya memperkuat hubungan ekonomi dalam ASEAN dan bagaimana MCS 2024 dapat menjadi peluang signifikan untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kolaborasi antar negara. Hubungan Malaysia-Indonesia Menguat<\/b><\/h4>

H.E. Dato’ Syed Mohamad Hasrin Tengku Hussin, Duta Besar Malaysia untuk Republik Indonesia, dalam sambutannya mengatakan, \u201cMCS 2024 bukan hanya titik pertemuan bagi para pelaku usaha, tetapi juga menjadi katalisator untuk memperkuat hubungan dalam ASEAN, khususnya antara Malaysia dan Indonesia. KTT ini akan dilaksanakan bersamaan dengan Perayaan Ulang Tahun ke-50 hubungan bilateral Malaysia dengan Tiongkok.”<\/span><\/h4>

Dato\u2019 Syed Mohamad Hasrin hadir dan memberikan sambutan dalam acara Networking Series MCS 2024 di Jakarta sebagai bagian dari upaya untuk mempromosikan konferensi ini di negara-negara ASEAN, khususnya Indonesia. Acara serupa juga akan diadakan di Bangkok, Thailand bulan depan.<\/span><\/p>

Meskipun MCS 2024 merupakan acara antara Malaysia dan Tiongkok, Dato\u2019 Syed Mohamad Hasrin menekankan dampaknya meluas jauh melampaui kedua negara ini. “Mengintegrasikan ASEAN ke dalam konferensi ini adalah langkah strategis yang penting untuk meningkatkan ketahanan dan daya saing ekonomi kawasan ini,” katanya.<\/span><\/p>

Manfaat Bagi Pelaku Usaha dan Ekonomi Indonesia<\/b><\/h4>

Richard Teo, Ketua Eksekutif Qube Integrated, menyoroti manfaat besar bagi bisnis Indonesia yang berpartisipasi dalam KTT ini. \u201cIni adalah platform ideal bagi pelaku untuk memperluas jaringannya dengan lebih dari 500 peserta pameran dan 10.000 pengunjung. Ini akan mendorong koneksi dengan perusahaan terkemuka dari Malaysia, Tiongkok, dan negara-negara ASEAN lainnya.\u201d<\/span><\/p>
