Mr. Cao Derong is the current President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-Products (CFNA). With extensive experience in engineering consultancy, foreign investment management, and market system development, Mr. Cao has built a distinguished career in both domestic and international trade. Prior to his role at CFNA, he served in various high-level positions, including Deputy Director-General of the Department of Market System Development at the Ministry of Commerce of China, and Economic and Commercial Counsellor at the Consulate-General of China in Houston, USA.

Mr. Cao’s career spans several decades, having started as an assistant engineer and senior engineer at China International Engineering Consulting Corporation (1988-1997). He later held leadership roles in the Foreign Investment Department of the former State Economic and Trade Commission (1997-2003) and the Ministry of Commerce (2003-2016), where he was responsible for key policy initiatives and market development strategies. Between 2012 and 2016, he represented China as Economic and Commercial Counsellor in Houston, before returning to the Ministry of Commerce as Deputy Director-General until 2019.

PPG has won over 100 accolades, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to service excellence. Notably, the group has received the prestigious “World’s Best Independent Airport Lounge” award at the World Airline Awards by Skytrax for eight consecutive years from 2016 to 2024.

Under his leadership over the past 26 years, Plaza Premium Group (PPG) transformed the global airport hospitality industry and today, PPG is the world’s largest airport hospitality service provider embracing innovation and technology to offer 360° award-winning airport experiences including lounges, airport terminal hotels, dining concepts, concierge services, a membership program and a digital travel experience platform. Franc Han Shih is a seasoned broadcast journalist with over five years of experience across diplomacy, journalism, and business. Currently, he serves as a News Anchor and Business News Correspondent at Thai PBS World, the English-language platform of the Thai Public Broadcasting Service (Thai PBS).

Franc presents The Wave, a business-focused programme in which he engages with distinguished figures from government bodies and corporate leadership, including the Vice President of the World Bank, Malaysia’s Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry, Finland’s Minister for Foreign Trade and Development, Australia’s Special Envoy for Southeast Asia, and Google Southeast Asia’s Director of Marketing.

He also co-anchors Thai PBS World Tonight, a primetime news programme delivering comprehensive political and business news, alongside interviews with prominent figures.

Sarah Wang, Regional Director for Asia at the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), brings over 15 years of cross-industry expertise to her role. Serving as a pivotal anchor for members and partners across Asia, Sarah holds responsibility for strategic planning and fostering regional development. Passionate about international cooperation and sustainable development, she excels in facilitating cross-cultural exchanges and collaboration. Previously at the UN Tourism headquarters in Madrid, Sarah coordinated tourism research and development projects across the Asia-Pacific region. Following her role at UN Tourism, Sarah led the International BD team at the China National Convention Centre, driving global marketing efforts. Sarah also has 5 years of entrepreneurial experience, having served as partner and CEO of venue operation at Innolink Group. Dato’ Captain Fareh Mazputra has been appointed as the Managing Director of AirAsia Malaysia in July 2024. He has played a significant role in shaping the airline’s operational and safety standards over his extensive career. Captain Fareh’s journey with AirAsia began in 1997, and his illustrious flying career spans over 30 years, including stints with Malaysia Airlines and Qatar Airways, flying the Boeing B737, Airbus A320, and A330. His transition into management started in 2009 when he was appointed Director of Flight Operations, where he led initiatives to enhance overall safety standards and operational efficiency, including launching a pioneering fuel efficiency programme.

In 2010, Captain Fareh spearheaded Asia’s first Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL) program, setting new benchmarks for pilot training in the region. He further demonstrated his leadership as CEO of the Asian Aviation Centre of Excellence (AACE), AirAsia’s joint-venture training arm, from 2013 to 2017. Under his stewardship, AACE conducted operational training for pilots, engineers, and cabin crew for over 30 airlines, training 15,000 people annually. Returning to the airline, Captain Fareh served as Head of Flight Crew Resourcing and Head of Pilot Training and Standards before his current appointment. Throughout his career, he has been building and driving continuous improvement culture within the organisation and been a champion of inclusivity, diversity, and sustainability within the aviation industry, such as promoting more female acceptance for a career as a pilot and supporting individual professional development for internal career growth.

Dato’ Sri Haji Darwis Abdul Razak serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd, where he has been responsible for overseeing the development of East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project since 2016. With a wealth of knowledge and expertise accumulated over 25 years in infrastructure project management, finance, and banking, he has made significant contributions to the advancement of Malaysia’s infrastructure development projects. Prior to his current role, Darwis held the position of Chief Financial Officer for an infrastructure project with a budget of RM5.0 billion.

Darwis receives his MBA in Finance from the International Islamic University Malaysia. He attended the ASEAN Senior Management Development Programme at Harvard Business School and his affiliation as an Associate Member of the Malaysian Harvard Business School Alumni Club.

Mr. Ni Qingjiu, born in 1969, commenced his academic journey at Tianjin University of Commerce, studying Industrial Enterprise Management from 1987 to 1991. He commenced his professional career in 1991 and furthered his education with a Master of Business Administration from the Strathclyde Business School, United Kingdom, in 2017, where he also attained the title of Senior Engineer. Currently, Ni holds the esteemed positions of Senior Director of the International Affairs Department at China Communications Construction Group Ltd., and Managing Director of its Malaysia branch. In 2024, he was elected as the President of the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM).

With a notable career spanning over three decades, Ni has served in various significant capacities at the Sinohydro Foundation Engineering CO., LTD, the Bachy Soletanche Group Limited, and the PowerChina International Group Limited. He has extensive experience in international engineering project management, market development, and large-scale corporate management.

Ni has secured international engineering contracts exceeding 20 billion USD. His exceptional leadership significantly contributed to the successful execution of the East Coast Rail Link in Malaysia, a landmark project under China’s Belt and Road Initiative and the largest overseas project undertaken by a China enterprise.

PROFESSOR JIANGHUAI ZHENG holds a Ph.D. in Economics and is currently a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor in the Department of Industrial Economics, as well as the Dean of the School of Economics at Nanjing University. He is also a Researcher at the Yangtze River Delta Economic and Social Development Research Centre at Nanjing University, a key research base for Humanities and Social Sciences designated by the Ministry of Education, and serves as Associate Editor of the Nanjing University Business Review.

He received his master’s degree from Nanjing University, his Ph.D. from Renmin University of China, and completed his postdoctoral research at the Institute of Industrial Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He has also been a visiting scholar at Carleton University in Canada and Stanford University in the United States. In addition to his academic roles, Professor Zheng serves as the Vice President of the China Development Economics Association and is a member of both the Industrial Economics Construction Professional Committee and the China Industrial Economics Association.

Dr. Musdhalifah Machmud, M.T. earned a Doctorate in Business Management from the Bogor Agricultural Institute (2020), a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from the Bandung Institute of Technology (2003), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Management from the Bogor Agricultural Institute (1985). In addition, she holds a postgraduate qualification from ITC Enschede in the Netherlands for evaluation and monitoring of environmental change in 1992.

With over 35 years of experience, she has held numerous key roles, including Deputy Coordinating Minister for Food and Agribusiness from 2015 to 2023 and Senior Advisor for Connectivity Service Sector and Natural Resources (2023- September 2024), where she led initiatives for sustainable food systems and agribusiness development. Dr. Musdhalifah also served in the Ministry of Forestry from 1988-2003. Currently, she serves as Expert Team for the Coordinating Minister.

Dr. Musdhalifah received the Republic of Indonesia’s highest medal of honour, the “Satya Lencana Karya Satya”, for her work, dedication, and achievements in government. She is frequently invited to speak on food, plantation, biofuels and agriculture issues.

Dato Dr. Tan Yew Chong holds prominent positions in both the corporate and government sectors. He is currently an Advisor to the Malaysian Minister of Plantation and Commodities, Senior Advisor at Deloitte Business Advisory and Salcon Berhad, as well as an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and an Honorary Professor at Nanjing Forestry University, China.

Ms. Bettina Chua Abdullah today is a writer and traveller, with a diverse background spanning media, property development, retail, environmental advocacy, and the arts. She is recognised as a pioneer in international business news reporting, from its inception ahead of the new millennium, as CNBC Asia’s award-winning chief news anchor.

Ms. Bettina Chua Abdullah has long applied her skills to moderating conferences, covering topics such as economics, business best practices, innovation, the creative economy, material culture, and heritage conservation. Most recently, she moderated a UN-led forum on advancing gender equality and well-being for women. For three years, she helmed the Merdeka Awards Roundtable discussions on key issues of Malaysian national interest.

Passionate about lifelong learning, Bettina has been a self-directed student of Islamic architecture for nearly fifteen years. She currently spends most of her time in Oxford and Sicily, researching her third book – a series of essays exploring islands at the crossroads of history, culture, and time. The Hon. Loke Siew Fook serves as the Minister of Transport in the Unity Government under Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, having been sworn in on 3rd December 2022.

As Minister, he is committed to a world-class public transportation as a means to alleviate traffic congestion and deliver sustainable mobility.

To this end, Mr Loke is focused on improving the efficiency and reliability of Malaysia’s public transportation on top of cultivating a culture of maintenance for these critical infrastructures and related facilities. He also wants to enhance road safety in the country.

Mr Loke is an advocate for the digitisation of key government services, having overseen the digitisation of the bidding system for car number plates under the Road Transport Department (JPJ) during his first stint as the Minister of Transport from May 2018 to February 2020.

Mr Loke is pressing ahead with the digitisation agenda with the firm belief that it will provide a more seamless and satisfactory experience for the public.

The Rt. Hon. Dato’ Seri Haji Fadillah Haji Yusof is the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation since December 2023. A graduate with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Universiti Malaya, he began his career as a civil and Syariah lawyer, later becoming a partner at Abdul Rahim, Razak, Tready, Fadillah & Co. He has also been actively involved in non-governmental organizations such as Dewan Usahawan Bumiputera Sarawak (DUBS).

In government, Fadillah has served in various roles, including Deputy Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation(2008-2013) and Minister of Works (2013-2018). His leadership has been instrumental in driving infrastructure development and modernization efforts in Malaysia. Now, as Minister of Energy Transition, he leads the country’s strategic shift towards sustainability and clean energy initiatives.

尊敬的拿督斯里法迪拉尤索夫自2023年12月起，出任马来西亚副首相兼能源及水务转型部长的职务。他拥有马来亚大学法学（荣誉）学士学位，于事业初期从事民事和伊斯兰法律师的工作，并在之后成为Abdul Rahim, Razak, Tready, Fadillah & Co的合伙人。此外，他也积极参与如砂拉越土著企业家商会（DUBS）等非政府组织的工作。

Over 30 years’ experience in energy projects development and operation in both PRC and SE Asia region. Previous experience in running onshore oil field exploration and production in SE Asia and infra-structure of logistics hub in PRC. In the last decade, work focused on constructing and operating renewable fuels facilities, namely HFEA-SAF and HVO, and waste-based feedstock development in Asia.

Currently works for EcoCeres, Inc. as EVP, Operation to manage Project Execution to build new HEFA-SAF and HVO Facility, oversee Production Operation for EcoCeres’s assets of HEFA-SAF & HVO, and Cellulosic Ethanol & Bio-chemicals, and look after Business Support function of Group HSSE, Sustainability and Procurement.

From 2019 to 2021, also acted as Co-chair (Asia) of Waste, Residue and Advanced Low Carbon Fuel Technical Committee of International Sustainability & Carbon Certificate (ISCC).

潘家乐先生

潘家乐先生在中国和东南亚地区拥有超过 30 年的能源项目开发和运营经验。他曾在东南亚从事陆上油田的勘探和生产，并在中国投身物流枢纽的基础设施建设工作。过去十年，他积极在亚洲境内推动可再生燃料设施的建设和运营工作，对油脂加氢至可持续航空燃料（HFEA-SAF）和加氢植物油（HVO），以及废物原料的开发贡献良多。

Ms. Dalad Tantiprasongchai is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief International Business Officer at SCBX, the holding company for Siam Commercial Bank, Thailand’s largest and oldest financial institution. Her role encompasses overseeing strategic operations, investments, and partnerships across the Group’s financial technology ventures, digital platforms, and digital assets. She is particularly dedicated to developing SCBX’s “Climate Domain,” reflecting her strong commitment to climate-related investments.

With over 18 years of experience in private equity investment, M&A, and management consulting, Dalad brings a wealth of expertise to her position. She previously served as a Partner at McKinsey and Head of M&A at Walmart Asia, where she led the US$16 billion acquisition of Flipkart. Her career began at Bain & Company, and she has held various roles in investment management across Singapore, Hong Kong, the UK, China, the UAE, and Los Angeles.

达拉特小姐是SCBX的首席运营员兼首席国际业务员。该公司是泰国最大、历史最悠久的金融机构——泰国汇商银行（Siam Commercial Bank）的控股公司。她的职责包括监督集团在金融技术创投、数字平台和数字资产方面所展开的战略运营、投资以及合作伙伴关系。她尤其致力于拓展SCBX的 “气候版图”，体现了她对气候相关投资的坚定承诺。

Recognised as one of Forbes China’s 100 Most Influential Chinese in 2023, Ravenna is an active participant in the Asian venture capital network, Global Outstanding POWER 100, and Dragon 100. She has been invited to speak at numerous United Nations and European Parliament Youth Events. As a Chinese representative at the APEC CEO Summit and an ambassador for Indonesia and Malaysia tourism, her influence extends globally.

Ravenna has co-founded a cross-border payment platform and a social beauty platform. She excels in incubating science and technology projects, cross-border business implementation, and strategic planning. Her efforts have assisted hundreds of science and technology enterprises in cross-border incubation and market entry, as well as early-stage investors in tech companies.

陈垚卉小姐是启迪之星亚太地区（TusStar APAC）首席执行员与启迪创新跨境电子商务有限公司（TUSCBEC）的副总裁。启迪之星是全球领先的大学科技园，管理着约3000亿美元的资产。

陈氏在2023年被福布斯中国（Forbes China）评为最具影响力的100位华人之一，同时也是亚洲风险投资网络、全球杰出百大影响力人物（POWER 100 ）和龙汇100（Dragon 100）的积极参与者。她曾多次受邀在联合国和欧洲议会青年活动上发言。作为亚太经合组织首席执行员峰会（APEC CEO Summit）的中国代表以及印尼兼马来西亚旅游大使，她的影响力遍及全球。

此外，陈氏也与他人共同创办了一个跨境支付平台和一个社交美容平台。她擅长科学和科技项目的孵化、跨境业务实施，以及战略规划。她曾帮助数百家科学和科技企业进行跨境孵化和市场进驻，以及为科技公司的早期投资者提供协助。
